Did you hear the news? The Cashiers Showhouse opened this past weekend AND it features a sitting room designed by yours truly!
I had an absolute ball there this weekend sharing stories, signing copies of The Collected Tabletop and talking design.
During my book signing at Francie Hargrove’s I took the opportunity to do a bit of browsing and found the most precious little flower container. Francie mentioned it was one of the most popular items in the store and I am taking this opportunity to make it one of my picks or as I call them “Kathryn’s Classics,” meaning fabulous, useful pieces that will never go out of style!
I love this particular piece because it is a great size for a breakfast table or counter. It is easy to arrange in and doesn’t take many flowers.
But, I digress! You simply must come visit the Cashiers Showhouse to see all of the marvelous rooms yourself. I hope to share more images with you soon. For now, you can find all the showhouse info here.

I want to purchase the multiple vase piece you have showcased. How am I able to purchase this item? Actually I would be interested in purchasing more then one. It was such a pleasure to lunch with you at Chestnut Cottage when you were in NC! Glad you like this addition to Kathryn’s Classics! I would recommend that you call Francie Hargrove in Cashiers, NC where I was doing my book signing and spotted this delightful vase. Francie told me they were one of her best sellers and I am sure that she keeps a good inventory of them. I feel sure that she would be happy to ship them to you.
