“Antique of the Week”: Asparagus Tongs

You are...

This week in our “Antique of the Week” series, we will continue in the delicious world of asparagus with asparagus servers.

Antique Tongs

This exquisite asparagus tong is by the noted French silversmith Emile Puiforcat.  It has beautiful flowers chased on the reticulated blade and applied flowers in relief on the handle.  Perfectly lovely for serving, perhaps Roasted Asparagus Wrapped in Ham at your next luncheon in the garden!

Enjoy your “Antique of the Week”, everyone!
