High Point Fall Market this year was especially wonderful. Out of the many showrooms I visited, Hickory Chair was the most superb (as it is every year!). Although I thought every designer for Hickory Chair did an amazing job, I was absolutely inspired by the work of Alexa Hampton. Her classic design execution along with color palette excellence was ‘spot on’.
Alexa took advantage of this years Pantone color predictions shown above. ‘Poppy Red’ did just what it was supposed to do, POP! That is one of the best adjectives to describe her showroom…poppy! Below, I have combined some of the photos I took during my visit to her showroom…
As you can see, Alexa did an AMAZING job and has certainly inspired me as a designer and lover of all things Hickory Chair! Also, as a fellow author, I would HIGHLY recommend her elegant book titled “The Language of Interior Design”.
