It was my privilege to be a part of a WithIt panel discussion on Monday evening at Fall High Point Market. Our panel discussion was titled “Why Is Old Still New?”, moderated by Kimberley Wray of Kimberley Wray Marketing Communications. Other members of the panel include Laura Holland, Marketing Director of Hickory Chair and Karen Luisana of Antique and Design Center at Market Square.
Our discussion revolved around the significance of antiques in the current market and where is the future of antiques within design projects going. It was a fun and interesting evening attended by a diverse group, including students from The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. My passion for antiques and a “collected interior” made this a perfect place to share my book, The Collected Tabletop. A big thanks to WithIt for inviting me to be a part of such a great panel and to all those attending for a wonderful and lively discussion! Finally, I want to say a big thanks to Crescent Fine Furniture for hosing this lovely event. Here are a few photos…
