Chestnut Cottage Garden

Interior Design Blog Tales from Chestnut Cottage

Not only did Chestnut Cottage provide me with a clean canvas for interior design, but also for gardening. It is nestled in the mountains with a perfect area for an English cottage garden. The moment I saw it, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my days at Chestnut Cottage- it was my destiny.

This bench is one of my favorite spots in the garden. This is where I will paint, write, and enjoy a cup of  Hazelnut coffee or an elegant flute of Champagne.

The boxwood topiary stands elegantly in a stone circle, watching over the cutting garden of both annuals and perennials

Spring brings a profusion of  lilacs, peonies, fox glove, and roses surrounded by a Laurel hedge that conceals the car park.

All through the winter, I dream of my garden. On the first day of spring, I dig my fingers into the soft earth. I feel its energy and my spirits soar.- Helen Hayes

Incredible job on this forum. I have been looking for a gardening webpage to follow. BTW, I found you through Yahoo.
