Displaying Blue & White

If you’re a fan (or obsessed) with collecting china like I am, I recommend putting your collection on display.  When decorating, I love hanging plates on the wall.  It’s a way to enjoy my treasures everyday instead of having them hidden away in a cupboard.  There are a few different options when hanging your china.

A wire and spring hanger is the most common.  The wire secures to the edge of the plate while a spring adds tension.

If the china you are displaying is antique, a better choice would be adhesive discs.  These discs eliminate the pressure exerted by spring hangers.  Activated with a small amount of water,  simply apply to the back of the plate and let dry overnight.  Once dry, the disc will safely adhere without damaging your china.  Removal is with warm water.

Have fun showing off your collection!
