Thanks to all of you who’ve mentioned my recent post on Medicis Easter pastel almonds! I’m happy to know I’m not the only fan out there! Enjoying a few of those almonds got me to thinking about other Easter traditions that I love, like unique place cards at my table setting.
As I always say, it’s important to make your guests feel special and having a one-of-a-kind place card at their seat is a great start. Here are a few ideas I put together.
Vintage cobalt egg cups bring blue (one of my favorite colors!) to the setting. Plus they give the appearance of a “collected” tabletop.
Tying a place card to a small straw basket is a marvelous idea for Easter. Add a few small chocolate eggs for an after-dinner treat.
Of course you can never go wrong with classic white egg cups. Add a bright egg and place card to coordinate with your linens or china pattern.
You can also tie the card around the base of the cup for a slight twist. These speckled eggs create a fresh from the farmhouse look, don’t you think?
Aside from the creations I made, I also found a few other inspiring ideas online.
Aren’t these bunnies from Pottery Barn sweet??
And these baskets remind me of a different take on the ones I created.
Finally, I found these alabaster eggs at Williams-Sonoma. A set of these would certainly make for a colorful, happy table!!!
Hope your Easter planning is in full swing!
