For a garden luncheon in May or October, nothing is lighter and more healthy than a nice piece of fish. Serving fish with a beautiful antique fish cutlery set makes for a very collected tabletop! In a perfect world, you would also have a two piece fish serving set. This set is from my book, The Collected Tabletop, found at an antique shop in Scotland. It features a delicate ivy motif, which made this the perfect compliment to the Napoleon Ivy pattern also used in the book. Wouldn’t a delicious light filet of trout be nice?!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday!

I love it. But is it safe to use antique cutlery. I love things from the past, especially ones that I can actually use. I have one antique corkscrew that I got from New Orleans, my hometown. I use it not as often as I would like to because I want to preserve it, plus it takes a bit of strength to use it. But, I just love your book!
Lorrie,
Absolutely, I use my antique cutlery all of the time! I don’t put it in the dishwasher, I lovingly wash it by hand! And I am happy to hear you are using your antique corkscrew. You are very kind about my book and it is very humbling when I hear my readers are truly enjoying the book! Thanks for your support!!

Kathryn,
I love your passion, incorporated with recipes. You show your passion for life and entertaining family and friends. That is what life is all about. Anyone can have a house; but a house is not a home without love, care, and the people you love. I was so lucky to win your book in a contest here in Little Rock 🙂
Thank you Lorrie…I am so happy that you love your book!
