Pickle Making Fun!

We all have a variety of images in our mind when we think of simple pleasures.  Truly a simple pleasure for me about this time of the year, is making several runs of my Lime Pickles.

There is something very relaxing and fulfilling about this activity for me, not to mention the joy it brings to me to serve them, cook with them, and give them as gifts to friends!  The process takes a couple of days, but when the lids are tightened and I wait to hear the seal of the lids, the work is well worthwhile!  The lime pickle is a favorite in my book, The Collected Tabletop and for all of my dear blog readers, enjoy the recipe that follows!

Hi Kathryn. Thanks so much for the recipes. I have an abundance of zucchini right now so I am planning on making your recipe! Could you share your sausage and egg recipe too? I have a few weeks before I start teaching piano again and would love to stock my freezer. Thanks so much for all of your inspiring posts! Best, Deborah Price

I will get that recipe up for you right away. My only complaint about these muffins is that they are really bad to stick, even with Pam or Baker’s Joy. I have wondered if the silicon muffin pans would be better. I think I will try them. I will get that recipe up this week!
