“Favorite Friday Finds”: Holiday Placecard Holders!

Yesterday you viewed some of my tabletop designs at my Williams Sonoma event. Today you will see my use of fun and festive placecard holders. I used these adorable pumpkin placecard holders(below) on one of the tables.

I also love these little vintage-inspired earthenware turkeys (below) that are great for helping Thanksgiving quests find their place at your annual feast!  A great addition to any Thanksgiving table, these little turkeys also made their way onto one of my Williams Sonoma tabletop designs.

I’ve “referred” to your book NUMEROUS times in the past several days…putting some delicious sounding recipes on my menu! I’m using wine corks for placecard holders…hubby is cutting the slit in top and shaving off bottom…all of them have “clever sayings” and I hope this is a “conversation starter.” Have you tried holding a cork lengthwise between your fingers and “dropping it” about a “cork length”…most of the time it will “stand on end!?!?” It is a “men folk” pleaser (does get raucous at times!) 🙂 franki

One must guard against “raucous behavior” ! Wine corks and the contents of said bottles can be a major cause, can’t they! Glad the book is coming in handy for your holiday preparations! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Today the cooking, etc. begins at Chestnut Cottage and I am looking forward to it!
