In my career as an interior designer, one of my favorite “key ingredients” for a design concept is fabrics! I love searching for and sourcing lovely fabrics. And one of my favorite fabric houses is the quintessential British fabric company, Colefax and Fowler. Representing the Colefax and Fowler line, Cowtan and Tout, Manuel Canovas and others, there is something for every design taste! So many of their prints are my favs and are saturated with beautiful shades of green. One fabric in their Classic Colefax line that remains fresh and current in any interior is Boxwood in gray/green. I find this print so classic and restful and a bedroom with lots of this lovely fabric would be a very serene setting.
Here, the Boxwood print is show in a lovely updated bedroom via House & Garden Magazine.
Combined with Boxwood in gray/green, there are so many soft, lovely shades of green fabrics from Colefax that one could use to design their own personal retreat bedroom. I feel that the whites and grays in this quintessentially English fabric would be perfect for a bedroom or small sitting room!
Or if the softness of this pattern is not your “cup of tea”, perhaps Rochelle, a lovely green fern design in a linen print might speak to you!
Or if you are looking for a wonderful emerald green pattern, Jardin Bleu in Emeraude from Manuel Canovas would be a great start for a green design pallet.
Enjoy these lovely green colorways from Colefax & Fowler!
