“Shades of Blue”

I am so excited!  I just discovered a new blue and white pattern from possibly my favorite china manufacturer…Royal Crown Derby…Posie Blue. One of their best loved floral patterns has been given a re-vamp and is now available in cool and crisp blue and white.  What a perfect addition to your summer table!  The new colors together with the clean lines, flutes and twist rope handles of the Surrey shape give this new pattern a timeless quality.

For a crisp summer look, combine this pattern with Leontine Linen’s lovely “Etienne” with a blue ribbon thread to match the blues in “ Posie Blue”. I love the classic elegance of this hemstitch napkin and with Leontine, “the sky is the limit” on monograms!  Or for a more casual summer  table, perhaps “Davis”.

Collect a bit of vintage blue glass and gather a variety of shades of blue delphinium and there you have a collected summer tabletop!

Some many lovely blue and white patterns and so little space to store them at Chestnut Cottage!
