“Shades of Blue”: Chinese Bouquet Black Sapphire

There never seems to be an end to blue and white “china envy” for me.  Each time I see a new china pattern, I am thinking…where at Chestnut Cottage could I possibly store a few pieces of this pattern?!?!

And of course when I saw this new pattern in the Herend showroom in Atlanta, I thought, wouldn’t this pattern be great with all of my deep sapphire flow blue!

Chinese Bouquet Black Sapphire dinnerware is the newest color of the iconic collection of Chinese Bouquet from Herend.

I just love the ornate border on the dinner plate!

This oval serving tray is simply stunning!

I also saw this pattern at my favorite tabletop shop, Quintessentials in Raleigh!

I love the overall pattern, but even just the pieces with the deep sapphire border would be lovely to mix with antique flow blue… wouldn’t you agree?!

Image of the piece on good ideas of the plate with just the pattern on the border.

Some many “shades of blue” and so many lovely china patterns in “shades of blue”!

Kathryn, I just love, love your affection for blue and white! Especially enjoy seeing how you have it displayed in your home. This Herend floral you are showing us is especially beautiful. Have yet to display my plates on the wall, I have either aqua or taupe walls and think they may not look just right.

    Have a wonderful day
    Cindy

    Thank you so much Cindy!
