A few weeks ago, my beautiful, young friend and employee Leah, married her sweet man, Jeff Davis in her hometown of Greenville, SC. Wells and I were able to attend the wedding and take part in this celebration! I wanted to show you some of these lovely images of her ceremony and reception. What a fun and fabulous night!

I love this soft, pale pink accent color that Leah chose for her bridesmaids.
Their church is quite beautiful! It is the historic Downtown Baptist Church in Greenville, built in 1858 and remodeled in 1915 and again in late 2011. Isn’t the gold pipe organ stunning?
The new Mr. and Mrs.
This is a great shot of the exterior along with their wedding party!
Now onto the reception…held at the Upcountry History Museum, also in downtown Greenville just a few blocks away from the church.
The museum displays the regional history of fifteen upstate South Carolina counties from the early 18th century to the present. The couple chose this venue due to the groom’s love of history and their shared South Carolina heritage. How unique!
Leah chose a simple and elegant 5-tiered cake designed with delicate dots and topped with an arrangement of fresh flowers. I also love this linen table runner with their classic gold monogram.
The floral arrangements included white hydrangeas, white and pale pink roses, with a variety of fresh greens!
Recognize these beautiful floral containers?! I’ll give you a hint… they’re featured in The Collected Tabletop!
The custom drink “koozies”, and personalized cocktail napkins were such great design details at the reception!
The menu was authentic southern cuisine including shrimp and grits, fried chicken and sawmill gravy, beef tenderloin, fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and mashed potatoes. It was all so delicious!
The happy couple danced to “You Send Me” by Aretha Franklin…
In honor of the groom’s alma matter, there was a surprise appearance made by “The Tiger”, Clemson University’s beloved mascot!
He was certainly a crowd favorite!
As if you didn’t get enough to eat, Leah and Jeff opted to give guests one last treat on their way out… cookies! This couple certainly does love sweets, so it was only appropriate!
As for their ‘send off’, the couple requested that guests “Wave your wand with joy and laughter and wish them happily ever after”!
Wells and I posing with the bride and groom!
What a fabulous night! Congratulations to Leah and Jeff Davis! I just can’t image life with no Leah. She is such a lovely addition to Kathryn Greeley Designs!
