Just when I think my garden is out of the threat of a freeze, we get two nights of freezing temperatures at Chestnut Cottage! So what’s a gardener to do…COVER UP THE PRECIOUS PEONIES!!!

But spring has certainly come to the garden , with three of my favorites just waiting to come inside for a spring bouquet!

I so love the combination of white quince, forsythia, and daffodils!

The only thing missing was pussy willow! I love pussy willow, although it was the “switch” of choice for my Mother when I was growing up!
