There is no color palette that I love more than one of blues and greens! That is very evident at Chestnut Cottage.
While in DC last week at the Washington Design Center, I had the privilege of doing a book event at the Kravet/Lee Jofa/Brunschwig showroom. The showroom was lovely and I was immediately drawn to the Lee Jofa area, done in a lovely new blue, green , and brown pattern. I love the addition of the brown to the blue and green palette! I often use brown in combination with blues, both at Chestnut Cottage and on my design projects.

The greens, blues, and browns in this area of the showroom caught my attention immediately!
This 100% cotton , glazed print is from the Oscar de la Renta collection for Lee Jofa. The print is equally as beautiful on a chair as it is on the upholstered walls!
A neutral fabric on the sofa is a nice contrast with the print on the walls.
And I loved this green textured animal print on the side chair. A perfect combination of prints and neutrals !
This print just offers endless possibilities for combining with other prints of the correct scale…even this great outdoor fabric from Kravet!
I find this to be a very livable color palette and would be most happy with it at Chestnut Cottage. And I can think of several clients who would be very happy with this lovely palette on their projects! I would like to again say a special thanks to Giles Gobert, the Kravet showroom manager and his staff for a wonderful book event and all of their hospitality to Leah and I! The Washington Design Center was a beautiful place to work and I enjoyed seeing old and new friends at our book event!
