As you might expect, I am always on the hunt for new “shades of blue” for the table. I recently discovered some great new blue patterns at Williams Sonoma that I thought you might enjoy seeing. This new French Blue collection has so much depth and would be delightful combined with some antique/vintage blue patterns! The new French Blue Bouquet dinner plates are inspired by traditional chinoiserie, with an allover pattern of cherry blossoms and delicate branches.
This patterns reminds me of a pair of antique Chinese import vases that I have on brackets in the master bedroom at Chestnut Cottage.
This pattern is a durable glazed stoneware and is microwave and dishwasher safe! Another design in this collection is an antique style design, with stately blooms framed by a delicate vine. I do love the shades of French blue in this design!
I love these patterns layered on a table or in a lovely antique piece in the kitchen! I think these patterns would be wonderful combined with my favorite Williams Sonoma white pattern, “Pillivuyt Basketweave Collection”.
And another collected look could be achieved by layering these French Blue Bouquet patterns with Williams Sonoma Brasserie Blue-Banded Collection!
And I have already ordered some of the new Williams Sonoma Embroidered Lattice Border Blue Napkins!
I love the delicate French knots that dot these cotton linens. Another new product in “shades of blue” is the Palais Garnier stemware. This is a very lovely pattern, however, I prefer to mix in a pretty vintage stemware pattern to avoid a totally new looking tablescape!
Williams Sonoma continues to bring out new and exciting patterns to their tabletop collections and these are some of my favorites.
