While all of the “refreshing efforts” were going on at Chestnut Cottage this spring, the garden burst forth in its spring glory. I came up every day to see what had popped up…
Wonderful French tulips…
And so many varieties of daffodils…
A gardener’s delight, with all of these spring flowers to arrange!
And all of the window boxes and planters had to be done before I left for France!
One of my favorite early blooms are the lovely and delicate mountain laurel!
And a new faux bois bench from Currey and Company arrived this spring for the Chestnut Cottage garden.
And me sweet little apples have presented themselves!
And New Dawn roses everywhere!
I so love when the moss starts to green up!
And I think the English roses were at their best this spring!
So take a stroll with me around the garden and enjoy!
Wow, all of this spring garden work and strolling is tiring! I believe I will go out of the porch and have a nice little gin and tonic…made with my favorites…Bombay Sapphire gin, Fever Tree tonic, lime, and of course cucumber!
