When I travel, I am constantly surrounded by design inspiration. Everywhere I look, I find small design details, along with so much “full scale” inspiration! As I said earlier, I so enjoyed our stay in Beaune at Hostellerie de Levernois. Each evening we had drinks in their cozy lounge…
And dinner in this elegant dining room…
I so loved the detail of the back of the chairs , which were done in a very soft gray leather and these “to die for red buttons”! The flooring is a mellow Beaune stone.
You might know that I was very interested in this taupe/gray dinner service.
Three small pottery vases held simple, fresh red roses, combined with a single glass candlestick for a very sophisticated , elegant design!
One afternoon during our visit, the hotel owner was kind enough to show me some of the recently renovated rooms in their garden wing. I found more fun gray and red color palettes!
Simple, clean lines, and elegant.
