If one who has a passion for gardens is traveling…they usually find lots of garden inspiration along the way! So here are some of my favorite little bits of inspiration for you to enjoy…
I loved this big yew elephant topiary at one of the chateaus!
I spotted this lovely old garden statue and these baskets at the ancient Chateau de Clos Vougeot.
And what a sight the fields of rapeseed in Burgundy… The beautiful countryside of Burgundy with its ancient villages…
And lots of quiet places to taste one’s wine…
One of my favorite places where we stayed is the Hostellerie de Levernois in Beaune! (You will hear more about this location later!). Their gardens were not “showy”, but had so many lovely little intimate spots…boxwoods, ferns, water…oh my! Now you can stroll around their gardens with me for a moment.
I loved these little path lights in their garden!
At the Rodin Museum in Paris, I found this lovely rose garden.
With this beautiful white rhododendron and so many exquisite roses!
Hope you found a bit of garden inspiration from my travels!
