Paint Finishes!

I am regularly asked what paint finishes I recommend for clients…flat, eggshell, semi-gloss, etc. Presently, I am working on a project that my client’s requirements for paint are 1) washability and 2) low VOC! Most of the paint that I specify is either Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams brand. And within those two brands, there are many finish choices. If you love a flat finish, Sherwin Williams has two relativity new solutions to gain increased  washability and other performance benefits. New technology at Sherwin Williams has given us two truly flat finishes that have excellent washability. These products are Emerald and Duration Home.

Both of these paints feature anti-microbial agents that inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on the paint surface. Also, both paints are available in all Sherwin Williams colors and custom tints.

I’ll share with you a few interesting paint color palettes from the Sherwin Williams line.
