“The Collected Library”: The Secret Life of The Georgian Garden!

north carolina interior designer kathryn greeley presents the collected library

I recently read about this clever book in my latest issue of The English Garden! Anyone interested in English history and gardening will hopefully find this book to be very informative and delightful!

The Georgian gardens of England are constantly visited and considered one of England’s historical treasures. The mix of grass, trees, water, garden ornament, follies, and so much more provide much visual excitement ,  a place for contemplation,  as well as entertaining!

This book reveals so many secrets of daily life in Georgian gardens and the country houses attached to them.  From Capability Brown to William Kent, this book’s gardens spring to life.

I highly recommend this for your “collected library”!

Beautiful post, as always. Missed your usual Thanksgiving photos.
I was wondering if you would do an entertaining post on how to entertain without getting frazzled? I feel I am fairly organized but I seem to spend so much time in the kitchen when hosting a dinner that I don’t get to spend much time with my guests.

    They should be posted today!
